Malls Make City Become Sick

In this day together with the changes of time, a shopping center which often called mall become more and more in Bandung. Many people need it for shopping or just hanging around with their friends or families. Seeing this condition, developers make the best the use of building malls as many as possible pretending do not want to know what the effect of it in a long time after. Unfortunately, there is no action from the government itself to help this condition and to organize urban development better. Although malls have many advantages, but it will give bad advantages if there are too many malls in Bandung.

Talking about the advantages of malls, people will have many of it. Malls give an easier way to have one stop shopping, especially for people who are very busy and do not have a lot of time for moving from one place to another to shop. It is not only adult or teenagers who enjoy go to mall, but also children enjoy it too. We can see there are many parents bring their children to have fun and play in mall especially mall which has a big playground. As if it is not enough yet, malls also provide day nursery place. Besides, malls also provide job and it gives exchange to government so, the more malls in Bandung the more people can get a job and also the more government get exchange. Unfortunately, people forget about the bad effect from the mall. The problem here is that there are too many malls built in Bandung. It causes traffic jam everywhere. Bandung is not like it used to because wherever we go there are always traffic jam just like in Jakarta, especially when holiday, people from outside Bandung come for shopping. They visit different malls and it makes traffic jam in different areas too. It also makes people become consumerism. They buy many things that unnecessary when they are shopping in malls because many stores in malls offer things.

The more malls in Bandung the more energy too needed. Malls absolutely need big power of electricity and it also releases gas from the air conditioner that gives bad effect to the environment. Bandung is not green as used to anymore, it become dirtier by pollution. We must know that those developers build more and more malls in green areas. So that we loose many of green areas, and it means that we loose our healthy environment too. Those developers damage the mother earth’s living by building so many malls that release bad effect to the environment. It just the same like they add more global warming in this earth. They really do not think about the longer future of this environment by reducing the city’s green area.
Before there is mall, there is already traditional market. But now, people prefer to choose to shop in mall than in traditional market. So, malls are threatening traditional markets. They broke the trade in traditional market. This also reflects the life style of people now. They choose to shop in malls because they think it is more elite. So there is a point of view in people that those who shop or go to the mall are those who have much money, they are those who come from a high society class. So it causes a social gap.


In conclusion, I still believe that the more malls in Bandung will give many disadvantages as I mentioned above. Although it has some advantages but there are also many disadvantages that people must not ignore. So, I do really expect that government will have a better policy about this problem, they should not think only about their benefit. Besides there is an aphorism says, “the sick city is a city that has malls a lot."

wuih,,drove,,,keren banget..ah,,kalo versi vampirnya edward cullen,,versi koboi nya must be drove... :D

well,,kalo dari segi cerita sieh,,emank bagus,,keren,,seru,,dan emank bukan termasuk film ringan juga sieh,,cuma teringankan oleh ketiga peran diatas yang keren banget itu...

kalo diliat dari judulnya,,australia,,udah pasti yang jelas ni film ada hubungannya sama negara atau benua australia itu..
hubungannya apa?yaa,,jadi film ini bercerita tentang asal muasal australia,,bukan asal muasal banget sieh,,cuma ya seengganya dari pas australia te masih sangat gurun dan belum banyak penduduknya kaya sekarang...sampe ke waktu pas jepang nyerang ausie..mirip pearl harbour dikit lah...

knapa sieh australia tu critanya g abis-abis walaupun dengan topik yang sama,,tapi ga pernah ngebosenin,,dan pasti seru,,dari mulai pemain,,setting,,plot,,dsb...

inti cerita didalemnya sieh,,drama-drama juga,,cuma beda aja..
issue di dalem film ini juga ada tentang rasisnya,,antara black and white people sama mixed raced,,which is aborigin,,aq juga ngeliat ada issue feminismnya juga..cuma yaa,,gaya film barat seperti biasa kalo drama mah ga pernah lewat adegan mesra nya itu..he..but so far so good sieh,,hihi.. :P
buat aq sieh,nonton film yang rada mikir itu kadang seru,kalo plotnya jelas,settingnya keren dan yang lebih penting lagi adalah pemainnya enak diliat..

pokonya kalo mau lebih jelas,,nonton filmnya aja,,trus ntar share brg de.. :)

breaking dawn novel...

hmm...mungkin aq bisa dibilang ketinggalan jaman gara-gara baru baca novel ini sementara yang lain udah pada kemana...

sebenernya nih,,aq baca novel ini juga karena kepaksa bgt,,soalnya ni novel tu kado dari ade-ade aq,,hihi..sory y sists...dan baca ini novel juga ternyata makan waktu cukup lama buat aq,ada kali nyampe seminggu lebih..padahal biasanya paling lama juga sehari beres kalo bukunya emank rame...

well,,menurut aq,novel ini ga bagus buat dinikmati...apalagi tebel banget, kan sayang banget tu kalo taunya g rame...bikin bete bacanya juga...kenapa novel ini g rame buat aq,soalnya menurut aq novel ini ga punya gunung yang sempurna..mungkin kebanyakan atau semuanya pada ga ngerti apa yang dimaksud dengan gunung,, :p itu lho kalo menurut teori sastra kan ada yang disebut introduction,raising action,klimaks,falling action dan resolution,, nah semua itu digambarkan dengan bentuk gunung yang sempurna nan indah...tapi sayangnya mungkin sang penulis breaking dawn ini ga mengenal teori ini...
buku ini tu awalnya terlalu membosankan sama sekali,,jadi dari intoduction ke raising action tu jauuuuuuuuuuh banget...kira" seperempat halaman belakang kali tu baru klimaks...oh my God...nyiksa tu bacanya juga...datar banget gitu..well,,yang belakangnya disebut klimaks pun sebenernya g segitunya juga c,,,

jadi intinya, buku ini bisa dibilang ga terlalu bagus dari segi penulisan maupun plotnya karena yang depannya terlalu datar banget dan jauh banget buat ke klimaksnya..cuma ide ceritanya aja yang bikin beda..buku ini bikin orang-orang yang takut,benci atau apapun ma vampir tu jadi berubah 180 derajat tergila-gila ma vampir..so,kalo dibilang sukses dalam hal mempengaruhi sudut pandang orang sih iya...

biasanya nih, aq suka kecewa kalau udah baca buku trus nonton filmnya..tapi jujur ya,,buat yang satu ini, aq malah bersyukur kalau crita filmyanya beda sama bukunya..walaupun iya sih dari segi teori gunung sempurnanya juga emank ga terpenuhi,,tapi itu semua tertolong sama pemain nya yang keren-keren...whuaaaa...edward cullen apalagi tu....cuma sory ni ya,,pemeran cewenya cukup mengganggu buat aq,,akting dia ga gitu bagus,,kasian edward cullen ieh...

bedanya lagi,,slain beda dari ide cerita,,ni film juga bikin aq ketagihan buat nonton berkali-kali..manyus banget dahhhh,,,especially buat scene terakhir yang dansa di prom night trus diiringi ma lagu nya flightless bird itu...oh my..so sweetnya....
